Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

AccessNow Care is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing outpatient practice in Portage, Michigan.

We are an independent, provider-led clinic that is not affiliated with a large healthcare system. Our practice offers a unique combination of urgent care, primary care, occupational health, and telemedicine services in a supportive and flexible environment. Providers enjoy significant clinical autonomy, a collaborative team culture, and a straightforward EMR designed to minimize administrative burden and maximize patient care.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
Provide urgent care, primary care, and preventive health services
Manage common outpatient procedures within scope of practice
Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
Educate patients regarding treatment plans and preventive care
Complete timely and accurate documentation in the EMR
Participate in telemedicine visits as needed
Collaborate with physicians and clinic staff to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications

Current Michigan Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
DEA registration or ability to obtain
Current BLS certification
Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in urgent care, family medicine, primary care, emergency medicine, or occupational medicine
Experience performing common office procedures
New graduates are encouraged to apply

Schedule

Full-time or part-time opportunities available
Clinic hours: Mon–Fri 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM; Sat–Sun 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Flexible scheduling available
